About Me
Hello, my name is Louise Miteouamigoukoue Spiritcougar Lefebvre and I am a senior Indigenous artist and writer now living in Eastern Canada. I am a retired educator and grandmother. I enjoy spending time in green areas and finding solace in rural areas. I have noticed in the last few years, with COVID lockdowns and the high cost of living, that it has become increasingly difficult and expensive to promote art. I am surrounded by gifted senior folks who still have a lot to say through the things that they create. High gallery commissions and fewer opportunities for in-person sharing of our works has led me to create a virtual gallery for senior artists and writers. I am committed to creating a space that is affordable and easy to access. Through connections with each other, we can become our own promotional force and inspiration.
